My truck is a 2004, production date 10/2003. It has the ICP in the passenger valve cover, not under the turbo. My question is when looking for parts, like a turbo wheel or stand pipes what year do I go for. 2003-04 or 2005-07?? Also square egr cooler.

Thanks,
Owen

05-07, is there a crossover tube on the rear of the intake manifold behind the turbo? have you have the valve covers off and seen the hpo rails? round or wavy?

You would be looking for late build parts. The late 04 for stuff like intake elbows and what not will be 03-04 due to the throttle plate. You will also have the early style hpop and will not typically need to do an stc fitting replacement like the 05-07. Stuff like injectors, egr cooler, dummy tubes, and stand pipes will be 05-07. Turbo could be a toss up. I believe the splits are 03-04.25, 04.5-06.25, 06.5-07 but i'm not positive on that. Any half ass decent parts supplier should be able to decipher what you need if you tell them late 04 though.
