I was originally just going to clean the truck up for the new pulling season and make it more aesthetically presentable.
As some may have seen, a few months ago I bought the motor/trans combo out of "Still Leakin" from Brent(brentos).
The plan now is to build a 2.6 pull truck that would hold its own in this area and compete with some of the best trucks around here.
This project was supposed to start a lot sooner but business comes first and we have been crazy busy. Plus there was a lot of snow for the truck to push this Winter around here.
Truck currently has 225/100's, a MPD T4 kit with a billet wheel S366 from Barder. All the other basic bolt-ons as well.
For those that don't know the motor I purchased is a fully built piece done by the guys at RCD with their 350cc Hybrids.
We will be freshening the transmission and installing some billet components. Sending out the converter for a refresh as well.
We will either use the current S475 that came with the motor or I will have James at Barder put together a S480 for me.
Also plan to run dual HPOPs.
Pretty sure I will be painting the truck Gotta Have it Green as well(thoughts?).
Questions/comments/suggestions/concerns are welcomed.
Now a few quick pictures.
New take-off bed:
Motor on the way home:
Rusty bed removed:
Cab ready for extraction:
