Then stop phucking running them on your trucks. LOL
Everyone that does knows they're not rated for the truck so don't bitch if something happens. I ran who knows how many 305/40/22's on my last truck from multiple mfgs. I never had the first issue but if I had I damned sure wouldn't blame the tire, I'd blame the idiot behind the wheel that decided to put them on in the first place.
That first pic isn't a damn pothole either. Have you ever seen a pothole with perfectly spaced jagged edges? Smart money says that was also metal, I'd bet it was some type of grating or something like that. Perfectly spaced cuts suggests a man made object.

No you ***king idiot. There is a difference in blowing out one tire, from a pothole in the middle of i35 at night, and repeatedly trashing a whole set of tires from hitting sht.

What if you kept hitting potholes at night?

If I was a idiot, and kept hitting potholes, repeatedly screwing tires up, and then bitching about it on the internet...yes, I would probably fall into that catergory.

Man, I got a wife and 3 kids, it takes a lot to rile me up. Just good hearted sht talk, no offense taken, or meant.

I dunno? Hopefully before this time next year haha. I wanna do full exhaust, a novi 2200sl, and maybe a set of cams. If I ever get it out of the dealer for warranty work, we might be able to start playing with it.

Explain the scuffs around the cuts... If I remember right the first pic happened when potholes were getting bad up here during winter.

Wasn't home over the winter. I got the tires and moved to nc right after. I'm glad everyone here is a tire pro and I'm just a ***in idiot who can't drive. Please tell me what I hit when my truck sits in a parking lot 90% of the time. If there's trash in the road I avoid it. If there's a pothole I drive around it or at least slow the down. I have no problem admitting something if I'm the one at fault but I bought these tires under the assumption that they were fit for my truck because everyone runs them. This is my first experience with a street tire on my truck so how the hell would I know? I'm not bitching about this because I know nitto isn't gonna get on here and say ****. What's the point of a forum if we don't post experiences with our trucks.

I'm 100% in favor of posting experiences with our trucks...as long as blame for failures goes to the right place. You're still saying those are tire defects and they're simply not.

And the fact you're telling people to stay away from them.... This isn't a common problem. I hope you have better luck with whatever you decide to do.

Never claimed I was a tire expert, or that you can't drive. But I do know what scuff marks on a tire look like. That's why I asked swinky to explain them after his one comment
