I have a 2012 with the No Limit stage 2. I was running PIP tunes, but to me they were not what I was expecting. I ended up switching over to IDP tune and am more than happy on how the truck performs now. I am also getting P2073 and P2074 since I made the switch. I email IDP directly since they are the ones who supplied me the tunes and their reply was

"That's probably the CCV kit, if you have one installed. SCT doesn't support turning off specific codes, even on even existing off road tuners. We only have access to the parameters that SCT allows. Due to emissions restrictions, some changes are simply difficult and it's getting tighter.I'll look into the code and see if I can come up with a reason you'd have it. Thanks for understanding."

I replied back stating I do not have a CCV kit nor did I have the codes prior to switching over.

IDP replied:
We will try to reproduce the codes by installing the same intake. I've seen them from time to time even with an S&B intake. Since we use the regular SCT software, we don't have access to the codes. When I reproduce it, I'll contact SCT support for a fix.

So all in all they are working to fix this issue. Hopefully they come up with something soon. As for the time being I will continue to run the tunes.

Great, thanks!

Updated the sct. Reloaded the tow tune and still have the same codes and CEL on.

Any I supposed to be tuning the truck to stock and then loading the tune after u update the sct?

I called **********. He asked me if I loaded the "load first" tune. I hadn't. I returned the truck to stock and then loaded the "load first" tune. Reloaded the street tune and everything is good to go. My CEL is gone and the only codes I have is p0000.

By doing this I got rid of the p2073 correlation at idle code and the tire/axle ratio code.

Ok, I just found this and signed up today. I had a performance shop do all of my work about a month ago. I ran the Hot Street on the SCT X4 for about 2 weeks before I started getting the CEL P2073. It only sets after I drive a few miles then stop to idle, I can clear it then it will not return until I've shut down and cooled. I cleaned the MAF sensor, no luck, then replaced it with a new OEM, code set again the next morning. I'm running an S&B cold air intake, EGR blocked, 5 inch pipe with 7 in. tip extension. All else stock. I've checked every clamp and connection, racking my brain here but I don't know what else to do? I'm going back to the performance shop Friday and let them have a look. I see you guys talking about the PIP or IDP tunes. Does this mean that the SCT X4 that I have was likely programmed by a middle man before they sold it to me? I tried to call SCT today but after 20 minutes of elevator music I hung up. This is my first diesel and I've been bone stock for 4 years until now and I can't stand a CEL coming up constantly. Any advice? Thanks!!!

I basically went through the same stuff before I tried PIP tunes. I know it's not a fix for the IDP problem but it's the only thing that worked for me.

I looked up PIP. Did you buy a whole new tuner from them or can you just buy downloads for an SCT that you already have?

Hit them up on Facebook, they'll walk you through the program you need to install on your computer, then email you the tunes. As long as you have the SCT hand held, all you need is their files.

Awesome guys. I appreciate that so much. Had gotten pretty frustrated after $164 MAF failed to make a difference.

Why did you pay that much??! Rockauto has it for much cheaper.

I replaced both the map and the maf and it made no difference. The code comes back. I hope yours is cleared with a new tune. PiP and IDP both throw the code on mine.

Id hate to see someone throw more money at a problem and not get a fix.

I talked with ********** three times on the phone trying to figure this out. I've tuned the truck to stock, then tuned the "load first" tune and then loaded the street tune back to the truck. Light and code and CEL never came up for 2-3 days. Came back after that and called them again and the guy I talked to said he has never heard of that code coming up on the 6.7. He said that I would either have to get a new tune for the truck. Custom tune I'm guessing is what he meant to keep that code and cel light coming on. He said I could either do that or just live with the CEL and code all the time. I'm getting tired of looking Down and seeing the light on my dash. I have the CEL and TPMS light on on my dash and it's getting a little annoying.

Buddy of mine has Spar tuning on his 12, P2073 and the CEL has been on for the pass 3 years LOL.

I know, I hated that I bought it after that code came back but I can't return it, I gave them the core.
Interesting that I sent PIP a message on Facebook and they replied this morning that they no longer support those type of tunes. They said by the names of my tune list it sounded like I have ********** or Absolute Perf tunes.
