Is anyone using insight cts2 for monitoring? Pulled the trigger on nguage now trying to find the best way to monitor egts? Any ideas?

What is the purpose on the nGauge and nDash if it can't do shift on the fly and it can't read EGTs?

Their website leaves a lot to be desired in terms of describing the products they sell.

No product does everything for everyone. It is what it is. I'm happy with the CS2 because I like the way it looks and I like how I can expand into different sensors easily.

If someone dislikes a product enough I always say go make your own and make a million bucks. Until then...buy whatever fits your needs the closest and make it work.

Any one know how the sotf will work? Does the nguage need to always stay plugged in for it to work. Just thinking of and when I buy the cts 2 then sotf will never be able to work until I have the guage plug back in...not sure?

SOTF will plug is separately under the hood with a switch you mount. Neither tuner will need to stay plugged in. I asked this specific question a while back.

Thanks for posting and clarifying for us, Rich!

Jeff, Can't you give us a run down of what nGauge is capable of? Does it monitor EGTs? Will it defuel? Are you guys working on a way to mount the nGauge in the truck? What about nDash? Is this going to be available anytime soon?

Will it? That is awesome just order my insight. If it monitors egts might return the insight cts2. Any mounting options out there for the ngauge. Is it able to fit in the vent port?

I was under the impression the ngauge will monitor egt after the next update. I can't currently monitor egt. It does have a long list of things you can monitor. Only 4 at a time.

Pretty sure you can set it up to monitor 6 pids on one screen. At least I'm pretty sure that's how I've got mine setup.

Ipkyss, on your tunes, does each one have an enhanced version? Ha you ran the 600 yet? I've got the 600 and a 600 aggressive lock. Far as I know, I don't have any that say enhanced, so I am just curious.

All of mine have the enhanced shifting version. Maybe it's a name change?

Yea, I'm thinking I received some of the first publicly released tunes. I'd almost bet they're probably the same, but I sent them an email anyways.

When I loaded tunes on my buddies nguage for his 15, there was file sets that had "enhanced" in the name and file sets that didn't. I unzipped all of them and dropped them in the custom folder.

Just checked mine and no enhanced file sets for me. Guess I'll have to see about getting them Monday or whenever ******* opens back up from the holidays.
