Window tint

Anyone know what the percentage of the factory window tint (privacy glass) is on the rear doors/window?

Looking to have my front windows tinted (not the windshield) to match the rears.

20ish. If you are matching the front windows 15 is a good match. Makes up for all the extra light coming in through the windshield.

There is a ceramic 85% tint which is almost clear. Some guys are tinting their entire windshield with it. The benefit is that it keeps the heat out of your car on those hot days

Yea I alway thought 18% so either a 20 or 15 would work well...

I want to do the whole windshield. Probably just gonna do 20 and see how that is. Don't wanna be completely blind at night lol

20 is fricken dark. i did 50 and it was perfect. cut the glare but was ok at night.

some guys do 35. no way in he!l i'd go darker than that.

Exactly what i needed to hear lol. Im in the dark...no pun intended.... and so is my tint guy so I'll see if he's got something above 20. Thanks sootie

Mine was already tinted 5% on sides and back, with what looks to be 20-25% on the windshield. It's a little too dark for my liking. It's fine most of the time, but if it's raining at night it really sucks lol

I had 35% on the windshield of my last car and it was about perfect. I plan on having my truck redone at 35% eventually.

15 on the sides at 35 on the windshield would be about perfect.

Throw some light sunglasses on next time you are driving at night. If you can live with that you can tint the windshield...

All rear windows are limo, have to roll down windows at night to see lol perfect for day use in sunny phx arizona

20 is way dark. I have 90 on mine and the headlights aren't bright enough. Next time I may do 80. With as sue happy as people are today, there's no way I'd tint the windshield darker than legal (70%here in Ohio).

Here's a picture of 5% on all the sides and 50 on the windshield.. And it's perfect I think can see great never been bothered in Ohio at all.

^Beautiful truck. Anyway this thread has gone way off topic but I would go 20% to match the back. You don't want to go too dark on the front windows than the back because it looks really weird in the inside like the back windows are down.
