I'd still be happy with 650 lol.

I would be too lol. My 6.4 with the old tow power plus chargers on stock fuel was about 650-660 and it was fun as hell for stock fuel.

Correct.

They are streetmax X now, can't get the old wheel anymore

Shut up Ron, no input from you today lol. :swordfight:

Yup :whs:

My Dad got a new short block in his 2012 work truck at about 50,000 miles under warranty when it ate a piston. Totally stock, and he's 64 and drives like he's 84 LOL

Was it an early 11? Only piston damage I've heard of is as a result of dropping a valve.

Nope, mid-year 2012 build. It was rock solid for the next 100,000 miles. He tried to buy it when he retired in December but his work wouldn't sell it as there were about a half dozen guys that had their eyes on it to replace the POS Dodges they've been buying the last several years.

we've seen 4 or 5 , all with dual fuelers and a 369 or bigger. tuning has far surpassed the early failures.

Do you remember if they had bigger injectors? I would think a 369 would easily clean up all the fuel for the 700 HP the injectors are capable of. Just wondering if these were 800 HP trucks or 700. Although I can't see rolling the dice on injectors and keeping stock rods...

I think all the ones mike is talking about were stock injector just dual fuel. I know the two that failed down here with 369s were stock injector dual fuel 12 and 13 I believe.
