The only problem I see is what the 6.4 guys were running in too.. Blowing out up pipes. They need to finish that 90 and prevent future blown up pipe problems

Won't be a problem cause the 6L ones are coming with the 90deg bent so the stock uppipes will bolt on. I'll post pics when they get here

Yea thanks. I emailed them and the $900 is for the manifolds with a ceramic coating. The only down side i saw was that new up-pipes have to be made because they dont bolt up the stock ones.

those are the 6.4 versions, the 6.0 versions have the 90* for the uppipe

like said. The 6L manifolds from steedspeed will have the 90* bends bolted to them to that they'll bolt to the factory up-pipes.

I guess even the ones with 90* wont bolt up. He said the reason was because they have a 2.5in diameter outlet whereas the stock uppipe is 2.0in I guess. I am just going with what Leen Steed told me is all.

to bad that they couldn't make them to bolt up to the factory Y-pipe. Now a guy has to fab up a new y-pipe if he was to get a set of these. Just not something most guys will want to end up doing to run these manifolds.

Seems like it would just be easier to modify the stock ones rather than make all new up-pipes. That would definitely be a little bit beyond my limitations right now.

That was the whole point of this thread, so guys can read what others are actually makeing for hp. There's been just way to much crap being thrown around on psn and the org about inflated hp #s. For example Frank put 180s and a powermax on and he's selling his truck cause its not what a 6.4 is on a max tune. Which makes 550. One maker which way you slice it a powermax and 190s won't make 550hp. Now some guys with 62,64 non vgts are making 550 with track times/mph to back it.


Don't be shy guys, this thread isn't to discredit anyone. We have all been disappointed with dyno/track #s. So share so others can see what is working

He should have went 205 / 75's and a 64/71/80. That'd walk a tuned 6.4
