High power 7.3 compounds

Im wondering if i should have um all swapped out..
So you only had the one that blew swapped out?
I got mine from Nate. He insisted I get them all swapped out. Trust me last thing I wanted to do was pull both VC and pull all the injectors. I tried to see if it would be OK just pulling the one but he really wanted them all back. He told me that they are made in batches and sometimes if one goes you can have another one go. IHO why chance having another piece of metal go into your cylinder and have to tear everything back apart yet again to swap out another one.
So for me they all came out and a week later they were on my door step. He even offered to overnight them to me if I was in a jam which I did not need as we have a few other vehicles we use for DD.
I do wonder given how many run performance diesel that do not spend any time on the forums at all if there are some pullers 7.3 HEUI that have hit 800 HP or more. These guys would also it seems to me to be the ones without dyno runs and that would not be big or giving out their power numbers or estimates if they do know them.

This all just happend yesterday so i was going to talk to swamps. But i agree.

Blowby has done 800 on fuel if i have heard correctly.
Swamps has had multiple trucks make 800+ on fuel i believe. Dave mentioned 900 on an engine dyno with a large single, they found the limit of valve size to be around that point. So that calculates down around 800 in a truck.

That is impressive for the old 7.3 I figured with all the upgrades Mike had done he had to be getting up there. That is one hell of a HP for a truck still perfectly streetable.
I think that engine dyno has allowed a big leap in tuning and what combos work for swamps. That's good to hear.
The 7.3 is never going to be in the same leagues as CR or P-Pump but its good to see that power and the level of drivablity seem to grow for the masses.

Does anyone here have any pictures of a compound setup under the hood of an OBS? Pretty popular on SD's but the OBS is another story. I know of a couple guys running around the army with compounds on an OBS, so lets see some pictures in here!

That comment on 900+ with a single was in regards to somebody asking if the cr7.3 was gonna able to.do 1k on #2 only. It had nothing to do with compounded turbochargers on a heui setup. Just wanted to clarify. 700 is where injection system problems rule the roost.

What is the most track proven power that a 7.3 has made? Anyone have any idea? Seems like a couple have been close to 800 on fuel only, not sure ive ever seen 80 though.

700s. Who is to say there aren't some making 8s. Shti doesn't spool as well or.completely on a dyno all the time.
I'm not sure about the rest of the equation, if there is any.

Joey at Terminator has compounds on both of his OBS trucks.

It can be done, I did it with a twin set and even the triples on my obs.
