I had the stock one installed in my truck at ford I think out door just under $300 bucks and it works great. The only thing is my CTS dose not work if I remote start it???

CTS should only auto power up with key switch on. remote starting doesn't technically have the key switch on.

Mine has factory remote start. Appears to be the exact same deal. Module and a harness.

My CTS only powers up after I start the truck normaly. I can turn the key on and as long I don't start it it will not come on. If I remote start the truck and get in and turn on the key it don't come on at all unless I unplug it and plug back in????

My 6.4 had the ford one but was a unit like the aftermarket ones.

weird... I'm not sure. my CTS would randomly not turn on sometimes unless I unplug it. but I didn't have it very long before I got a dashdaq

I have it on my 2012 King Ranch you can set up to a 30sec delay I Believe mines on 15 right now.

I had the Old Insight in my 08 And love it worked great. I'm still not sure on this CTS
Did you have the dealer install it?

Yep that way it keeps my warranty up on all electronics.

I thought so. I asked be for I did any thing. It was quick an hour a reflash. I can even set my settings on the in dash desplay for run time and turn it off or on if your working on it plus two new keys.

Well I am a complete dum a$$ if I remote start it all I need to do is touch the cts and it will turn on.:doh:

Either you have a great dealer or know someone there or I have a ****ty one. Just checked on this and they want $505.00 installed for mine.

I don't know any one there Heck I don't know if they like me since after four mounths the still have my old truck. The unit was just at $200 and an hour to install.
