So it ain't the trans leaking, you're thinking?

I don't think so. I still need to replace the pan gasket but i don't believe that is the problem.

Series of events:

Drove truck friday, parked in garage friday night, sat all day saturday, came out sunday to leave to go back to school and tailgate has trans fluid all over it and theres a huge puddle underneath it, looked about like what the cooler would hold.

This is said puddle:

Excuse the oil leak... thats standard

But it leaked all that out in the course of a few days, then I backed it out of the garage and onto the cement next to the garage and parked it and over the course of the next few days it leaked out about the same amount of fluid on the cement. So my process of thinking is that when i started it and moved it it ofcourse ran the pump, in turn filling the cooler back up, which in turn gravity leaked out onto the ground. the leak is coming from the side of the trans where the lines are and the lines look wet in a few spots. I think the vibrations and bumps of michigan roads have claimed some trans lines...

Same thing going on with my 03, you need to get a new pan, gasket, and the bolts.
Do NOT over torque.
Also get a new tranny cooler, one out of a 6.0 if you haven't already.

Oh, you never stated that you actually fixed the problem. You went from talking about replacing the lines, to calling it good on leaks all in the same day. I'm glad you got the big leak fixed.
