How full do you run your coolant level?

We've got another 6.0 that shoots sparks out of the EGR valve (when it's removed and running). It's got about 1/2" of sludge and crap built up in the intake and eats coolant. It's smoking a bit out the exhaust so I imagine it's just the EGR cooler. But this is getting ridiculous.....

It was running ~32psi max... I think it was absolutely maxed out RPMs..... Sustained.. lol

Called Carter and they found one small crack that was "almost irrelevant". (Super shallow) The valves all checked out and he said both heads are warped a smidge, but almost all 6.0 heads he gets are warped. $53 to deck the heads, and we'll be slapping them on tomorrow. :rockon:

Yes, did you not read the entire thread??? I said that they all buzz but meant that some are stronger than others and if that is how you diagnose specific injectors. :edit: Or did I??? lol

Running 5w-40 syn and RevX (I know it doesn't help 7.3s as much). Kinda at a loss here... They all buzz, not all are strong. But they buzz

I'm a road warrior today delivering equipment, but I'll definitely try to get a video of it this afternoon. IF it'll start, big if, then I'll get a cold start video. Even plugged in, it's terrible. Haven' done a compression test yet, and it's got a CCV reroute and it hazes just a smidge. But...

Checked GPs after replacing GPR with a Stancor unit. They're definitely hot

Heads and valves are fine. (Supposedly to this point.. It's at Carter Machine in Amarillo, TX which is who we have used for EVERYTHING. They're good) The block is straight and was buffed by me, with diesel and scotch brite. Victor Seinz/Black Onyx were on it. Hence why we are doing it again...
