Neutral Safety Switch
Make sure the screws holding the switch to the trans are nice and tight - I was having the same problem for a while and I found the screws pretty loose. After I tightened them up it's good as new. Need help figuring this one out.
I've seen that exact thing happen on my truck, on the same connector even. I've reworked several harness's a while back to try to figure it out, and as far as I can tell it's a result of oil and/or fuel soaking into the harness and connectors.
