37 x 12.50 I get it but you can't run any of the new, large steering boxes with leafsprings. They physically occupy the same space. Truck only drives like an old truck because of the box. With the larger box the truck drives just like my 17 or 20 model. I lost the leaves to clear that box...- Charles

I know you already balked at radius arms but man..... it's right there. Most of the holes are already in the frame. I did 2010 axles under my 02 with Carli tuned King coilovers in the front and a 2016 steering box. Drives just like a 17+ now.... if only they had kings that is. Plus the wider...- Charles

PCS themselves have always been hands off. Yes, the 5R is shit..... as a transmission, because it is catch and release. I literally just sold a beautiful F450 just to get away from a 10R for this reason. I am driving a 22 year old truck because I chose a PCS 4R over a brand new 10R precisely...- Charles

If you did 1-2, lock, 2 over 3, 3 over, 4, 4 over You just did 8 solid ratio changes. As for the pressure...... might be interesting to disable the pump and route fluid pressure from the 4R.... then it would be pressure controlled with all the other shifts. Then adjust the orifice in the GV...- Charles

Geez..... has NOBODY actually run higher nozzle opening pressures? Grandma's, cousin's brother-in-law..... nobody? I have run them with a stock BD nozzle some but not much on a power oriented nozzle. I bet it would clear the idle haze on a 200. Might even egt better still.- Charles

Also.... don't know what the max input torque is on the GV.... but I bet you could get it unhappy engaging it in lower gears.- Charles

I am extremely confident the PCS will kick it on after 4th as a double over. 99.999%. And I bet you could also split gears with it.... just don't know how good those shifts would feel. Might feel like the 5, 6 and 10R garbage transmission shifts. Stacking shifts one atop the other is why the...- Charles

B codes vs hybrids
I think hydraulic pressure is easier to accomplish by simply asking for less Rotella flow rather than constantly trying to flow 5 or 6 or 7 TIMES as much Rotella as fuel. Everybody else is just flowing fuel. Imagine if a CR guy suddenly had to flow 5 or 6 TIMES as much fuel per millisecond to...- Charles

No.... it is a stand-alone trans controller. You literally tell it which outputs go to which solenoids and what order you would like to fire them in. I run my EPC valve based on MAP for instance.... not TPS. My trans is nearly always spot on with shift firmness this way. You can do just...- Charles

PCS should run a GV no problem. The PCS just wants to know how many gears (in that case 5) and what solenoid order you want to use. I imagine a person might be able to have the PCS pop the GV on and off and split each gear automatically if they wanted. Is there a reason you aren't looking...- Charles
