Well, I think I figured it out. The original pump gear set had markings on both pieces, the new gear set only had a mark on the internal gear. Apparently I had the outer piece that had no marking on it installed in reverse orientation. Reversing this part caused the outer pump ring to be about... -

Bismic, thanks for the part numbers. In my searches I haven't found just a o-ring kit. All I'm finding is the j-tube with o-rings as deezez said. Quite the cost difference between aftermarket and oem. But I think I'll stick to oem. My hpop cover has the ipr mounted on the cover. Sent from...
