So if its not an option for the c&c i doubt the wiring would be there, Ill have to pop it off and check. As for tuning its my family companies truck so I have to keep everything under warranty for awhile unfortunately.

I just picked up a 2016 6.7 c&c and I seen some of these come with a controller to turn on and off the exhaust brake right next to the 12v power source on the driver side. My question is, is the wiring already there so if I bought the switch I could just plug it in? Already missing having one...

I just got Gearhead tunes on my truck and like them so far, nice and smooth feeling to them how the power comes on.

I'll definitely give an update about the tunes for you. I had KEM tunes on my old truck and I liked them a lot so at least I will have a good comparison. Do you have an aftermarket clutch to hold up for the tunes?

Digging this thread back up...Has there been any updates to either device recently that make for more pros and cons of each? Just bought a new truck with a mini max and it is just too small for me and the cable from my old black maxx got destroyed and was just wondering my options.

That's weird I wonder if it's something to do with the h&s tunes. My 08 never did it but when it still had the canned tunes those were way older versions,maybe they changed something. I'm going to call and get gearhead tunes soon and I'll mention it. Sideswipe I think it's fully disengaging it...

I forgot to mention my tires are a little low on tread so they look a tad smaller.

This is a 6 inch lift with 37x13.5, the wheels are 22s not sure the width as I just bought the truck.
