Its slide pin grease. Green stuff. I'll have to check brand. I do the same and also usually a dab on the pad ends where they sit in the bracket. The one caliper was definitely bad. Was very hard to compress and had to emote with bracket to get off when I replaced it. Haven't had a chance to... -

I cleaned the slide pins and holes each time really well and wiped out excess grease. Also jacked up front end and the lock to lock for about ten minutes and could turn with 1 finger. Gonna check u joints next as well. -

Trans cooler in radiator busted and mixing with coolant

2000 Manual acting very strange
Helping a friend work on a 2000 manual drive. Truck has close to 400K Truck was acting like it was loosing power and would cut off. Would fire right back up and sit at around 1100 RPM and have a very touchy throttle. After visual inspection found oil in ICP so replaced with OEM. Also found... -
Up-pipe clarification woes
The collector itself is Dorman. Has their logo cast right into it. Not sure about the pipes but would assume so. Those pipes will work fine though. I spent the extra money when replacing my waterpump by getting a one through a vendor from ford. I was disappointed to see Made In China right on...- jtgf250

PMR block done. Suggestions on rods.
I talked to Zane about his motor. He feels the motor would be better off as a compition motor then in a daily driver due to compression and having forged Pistons. I'm still on the hunt though.- jtgf250
