Fog lights mounted in place. Inner opening finished up. And primed.
Won't go to body work for a month or two. Got a new job with a just starting company so haven't had income in about a month so no spending money till things get rolling. Next up is finish up with the bed caps so I can get the...
If I'm not mistaken it'll fit right in. Strap points are in the same location. Fuel pump is in the same location And the tank goes forward towards the fuel filter I believe. If you have the def tank removed I would see why it wouldn't fit. That's one mod I've been wanting to do.
That's what I'm running into. But I'm not investing any money suspension wise into the truck right now. Within the next 2yrs it's getting a whole new frame thrown underneath it. So I'm saving for that. No need to invest towards the leaf spring suspension. It'll be on air.
I've been in a lightning f150 with slicks on rear and radials up front and it didn't have sway. 5,500lb truck.
I'd prefer slicks over radials. But I'm just paranoid with a truck weighing 8k and slicks rear and radials front the sway will get real sketchy in the top end.
My mustang I ran...
Not sure if this is the right section and will ****** if needed.
Have a 2014 f250 369sxe 15 pump Midwest comp trans. Finally installing a TruTrac in the coming weeks so I'll finally get to take it to the track. I am a 2WD truck which is the challenge.
The slick I'm looking at is m&h 28x10.5x17...
You can't really tell in the photo but about half the hood sticks up past the grille shell. You can pull up on the passenger your side and it will drop the driver side perfectly level so I just need to do that.
First time with bumper on truck. So far I'm liking it. Damn RKSPORT hood didn't come with provisions for the hood adjusters on the front or a spot for the hood ajar sensor so my truck thinks it's open. Still need to Dremel the holes to level the nose out.
Lol. Just using them as a example to keep it powerstroke related. They are still worth too much to go beat. A OBS 7.3 or any 90s Chevy is what I really meant. 5k ****box to go out and beat to the ground. Not a 60k truck.
Well got work done and finished up the dodge fog lights and made brackets...
My truck does normal stuff, not any of the extreme jobs. I'm not stupid enough to take a 60k truck out and beat the ever loving piss out of it. These trucks are to damn expensive for that. I plan on protecting my investment. If I wanted to beat on something for work I'd go buy a old 6.0 or 7.3...
It tows every weekend. Don't know how making it look better changes that.
I'm a mechanic so I don't work out if it.
Still hauls fine. Just went and grabbed 3yards of dirt today.
Mainly cause I've broken the other ones to much. Lol.
I'm gonna try and grab a daily by December. About to have a police auction here and they've got a few Vic's left so probably will jump on one.
