I think it depends on how many miles you put on it. If you put less than 20,000miles a year leave it alone until your warranty ends. But if your like me and put on 30,000+ a year I would delete it.

I dont run any additives, and I forgot to mention I have 4:10 gears

My 2008 6.4 dually gets 14mpg with out a trailer in both city and highway driving and 12 with a trailer (15,000 lbs). Bone stock

All thats been wrong with mine is just needed a radiator, went out at 13,000 miles (warranty) and a New rear axle seals at 77,000 miles

Sorry left out the engien, its got a newly rebuilt never started 351W strokes to 400CI, just the block, heads, and chrome headers

Biggest thing is to make sure the dpf has been removed and if it still has the dpf make sure it has low milage
