It was a thought, but I was hoping to be able to just drive down the road and pick the damn thing up. Its unreal how hard it is to find such simple parts sometimes. I'm hoping that Home Depot might have one.

Lowes, napa, value, and advanced.... none of the have 1/8" ANYTHING.
Any more suggestions on where to pickup the compression fittings or boost line kits?
OP, is this your first diesel? I ask because diesels run out of vacuum much quicker than gassers do, so I'm wondering if you are overusing the pedal and using all the vacuum, kinda like air-brakes?
You know that after a certain year, you dont need to report mileage on the title anymore right? Or am I way off track with where you are going with my comment?

BUT, the 1997's were supposedly VERY similar to the 4r's (as in, a few internal parts different), including steel gears. So would the 1997 e4 w/ good tc and vb and steel gears be the exception to your statement?
