I always put a very light coat of new engine oil on the new o ring when I change the filter. It keeps the o ring from grabbing while tightening up the bowl.

Dealer told me that the radiators are only covered up to 36k. Not real sure why they dont go up to 60k with the power train warranty :shrug:. I have heard of some people out of the 36k warranty raise enough hell to get Ford to discount having the radiator replaced.

Had mine start leaking at 30k. Same exact spot as in picture. If I recall I thought the primary radiator drain was on the drivers side and the secondary on the passenger side but I can't remember for sure. Anyways, Ford fixed mine under warranty. The service guy said the radiator alone was...

Not a long bed

A strap wrench works great for removing frame rail fuel filter housing. No chance of breaking the bowl. Been using a strap wrench since the first fuel filter change.
