I just always ran advanced remans. Throw a spare under the back seat in case I wasn't near a store to exchange it. Less then 5 minutes to swap with the battery impact so never bothered me.

On some GM trucks once you pull that power plug at the door and reconnect it you have to pull the battery connections to reset the computer.

I honestly don't know. Was just curious.
Other thought was if you are lifting it by the axles or on the frame. If your lifting on the frame then the axles would be dropping. Just a thought.
They can write all the tickets they want but they won't hold up in court. Law goes by GVWR and live weight. Not by GAWR. Just because someone is a cop doesn't mean they can rewrite the law.

Carlisle makes a 12 ply tire thats good for 3900# . And gladiator makes a 14 ply (make sure you get the steel belted one) that will hold anything that you throw at it. I ran both with good results and high mileage.
Running hot shot I had a lot more weight and zero issues with them.
