    PA System Question.

Guys, thanks for the input, but none of you have addressed my questions. I don't want alternate options. Please stick to my original post and the questions at hand. Thanks.

    PA System Question.

I was told that I'd need another antenna even if I was going to only be using it for PA output.. But I didn't see that making sense. My biggest question is about the amp.

    PA System Question.

Alright, so I'm looking to put a PA system in my truck and have a few questions. We frequently have bonfires and it would be nice to be able to play music by splicing in a 3.5mm jack into the mic. Anyways, on to the questions. 1) The cb -> speaker isn't going to be loud enough. I want more...

Question for the Wheel Spacer Haters/Lovers (Whichever category you may fall in)

Thanks for the post, I appreciate the input! This is actually very refreshing. What I am looking at are hubcentric and billet aluminum (T6-6061). I don't beat my truck up either. For the most part, the only off-roading I do is driving it down to our pond, out to the deer feeders, etc. Nothing...

Question for the Wheel Spacer Haters/Lovers (Whichever category you may fall in)

These I like. Cold, hard evidence. I'm not sure what I'm going to do at this point. I may just deal with only using 90% of my radius..

Question for the Wheel Spacer Haters/Lovers (Whichever category you may fall in)

No disrespect, but you're providing information that is doing nothing other than derailing my thread. I'm not selling my "rims." Don't be ridiculous. You completely missed my point. For every person who runs a $900 set of spacers there are 20 people who run other sets. Aside from people posting...

Question for the Wheel Spacer Haters/Lovers (Whichever category you may fall in)

Like I said in my original post, I could not ever justify spending as much on 4 small pieces of steel as I did for my wheels. That's why I made this post.

Question for the Wheel Spacer Haters/Lovers (Whichever category you may fall in)

Thank you for checking! Looks like I'll just go with 2". Are the spacers identical as far as front axle/rear axle is concerned or are they different sizes or anything? I drive a SRW 4WD.

Question for the Wheel Spacer Haters/Lovers (Whichever category you may fall in)

10-4. I actually have a set of acorn lugs on there now so should be good!

Question for the Wheel Spacer Haters/Lovers (Whichever category you may fall in)

Good to hear from someone with actual experience. If you don't mind me asking, what do you mean by proper lugs? Is there a special lug needed when using spacers? Like I said, I want to do it all RIGHT, just don't feel it's necessary to spend $900. Thank you! Good deal. Well I'll shoot for a...

Question for the Wheel Spacer Haters/Lovers (Whichever category you may fall in)

I have an 8" lift AND a ranch hand front bumper. I clear perfectly fine in that aspect. I could honestly fit 40s and be good. It's the leaf spring clearance that is causing problems.. And no amount of lift changes that. Only wheel width/tire width, offset/backs pacing, and spacers. These are...

Question for the Wheel Spacer Haters/Lovers (Whichever category you may fall in)

I recently purchased a set of 18x12 -44 wheels to go with my 37/13.50r18 wheels. I was running an 18x8.75 +12 before. The 8.75"s rubbed very badly on my leaf springs. The 18x12's added about 1/2" of clearance, but I still rub slightly on my leaf springs. I don't like this. Everyone either says...

    how much lift

I'm not sure the difference needed for clearance between your body style and my 04.. but I have a 6.5" lift and 37's on my truck right now and I have PLENTY of room in terms of clearance. I'm talking, I could probably squeeze 40's in (it would be close). Offset/backspace has a lot to do with it...

Question for the leaf spring guys.

I only have one question. How can my current setup have 5.375" backspacing and 4.375" frontspacing? That's 9.75" and the wheel is 8.75.

Do's and Don'ts of stretched tires

Also, you should post up some more pictures of your truck. Looks good in that pic, I'm curious about how the 12" looks on <05's. I'm thinking about buying a set of 18x12 this week.

Do's and Don'ts of stretched tires

And I'm not downplaying your view on what is wild/radical/boring. That is in fact, your opinion though. I drove a car for years prior to owning my first diesel that had tires stretched on it that I didn't even think possible.. And I loved the look. I've just never been able to wrap my head...

Do's and Don'ts of stretched tires

I think you missed the pun in my janet jackson lip comment. I wasn't comparing wheels/tires to janet jackson. I also wasn;'t talking about 35's, I was talking about 33's. Everyone has their opinion, no need to get upset. For the record though, the setup in that picture does look pretty good. Do...

Question for the leaf spring guys.

That's only a 12" wide tire though. Mine are 13.5, and 37" tall so the tire size is pretty significantly different. I'm not sure if that'll have an effect on fitment. I do believe you're right though. Thanks for the input brother. Much appreciated. No opinions, just fact. I hope that's JUST...

Question for the leaf spring guys.

Good deal. That's what I was hoping to hear from someone who had a similar depth setup. Despite the increase in offset, the 12"s would add about 1.75" to the inner half of the wheel width and wasn't sure if the offset would be enough to clear the big tires.
