2011 6.7 white smoke at idle
All, I have a 2011 f-350 that will blow a whitish-blue smoke at idle. This only happens after it is up to operating temps. It was recently ******d(1000 miles ago) and then just re-programmed to basically stock from what I am told. Before taking it back in and having another wad of cash... -

Yea it was a 2000 f350 and I went and installed it for him, works just fine it was the exact problem tomang said, it had to be taped in otherwise it just would connect he even gave me an extra 50$ that I tried to refuse for putting it in, thanks for all the help/info guys. I appreciate it- goodie85

I made sure he cleaned the contacts as well but if its getting pressure somewhere id assume its because the black box isnt cut deep enough- goodie85

So this kid cannot get the chip to work in his pcm, can I take my pmt2 pcm and swap it with his to make it work? Or is it not that simple, my pcm is still in my wrecked truck so it doesnt really bother me to swap pcms if its possible- goodie85
