    Thanks guys. haven't looked at the cylinders yet. just in stock parts at wholesale price I'm still looking at an astronomical price for IH pistons and etc. now the price list is turbos and a short block......not sure it's gunna be worth fixing her or if I should go back again and look at f-150s...

    well i found a set of brand new turbos for 1600 from ford so I'm gonna slap them in there, decided to keep the truck for now, drove a f150 ecoboost for a week and i just can't do it, nothing compares to a super duty!!!

    I have quite a bit of equity in this super duty. It's worth double than what I owe. But it also has 115k miles now so the more miles I keep Clocking in the more it'll lose value. I put alot of miles on my trucks so trading things in never works out for me

    I've been researching it quite a bit and that sounds about right. Everyone just says the Ecoboost is getting awesome mpgs with an SCT tune and running 93. And diesel in south Florida right now is 4.30 a gallon and premium 93 is 3.89 That's where I'm at right now. The 5.0 motor is good as well...

    But knowing myself I know it won't be enough power...I need at least 33s all terrains for where i go and an Ecoboost on 33s already sucks at mpgs
