04 Tahoe Question

My girlfriend has an 04 Tahoe with the factory sound system. The previous owner had Sirius in it, so the little deck is still there. She plugs her iPhone into the Sirius deck with an aux cord and uses the deck as a fm transmitter. Normally it works fine. But when she plugs her charger up, it makes the speakers "whistle". Any idea why? Thanks!

It's feedback from the charger because its transmitting the signal over the radio station. Is it an aftermarket charger or the one that came with the phone?

does it have a step down in it ?

It is throne that came with the phone. Not sure what a step down is.

RF interference maybe? My Sirius does the same thing when my HIDS are on.
