So I recently bought my truck and noticed when I got it home that the down button on the mirror control was not working (power folding did not work along with the mirror adjustment going in the direction of down).
I replaced the mirror switch with a ford OEM and the button started to work again, but my passenger mirror will not fold. the mirror works when I press down on it, but the power folding option does not work. When I manually tried to fold it, it popped half way (drivers side was smooth all the way). Do you know what the issue could be? Is there a way to open it up to review the motor or no?
I had my dad take the mirror to work and he said that the motor would click then stop, but no movement from the folding option, could a gear be jammed?
