Last night I pulled 5,000 my flat bed is right at 4600, and a few sheets of sob, could get egts under 1200* with out any trouble. I have a 25' inclosed I will load up to see how temps do with that Load. I can test about any load size, trailer.

I had for reflash my ficm, egts droped. Have not pulled a trailer yet, but I hit 1350 wot with a tow tune, before 1550. Ficm tune is/was a big part of my temps.

That's crazy man I can't break 1200 unless I hit over 100 mph that's with a pmax stock sticks and manifold with a full fuel tune and fuel system

100% stock I could hit 1300-1400 pulling, and that was with 4 different 6.0's. I have no idea why noone other than me can. And 2 of the 4 trucks were bought brand knew.

with my pmax batmo combo, stock sticks and banks intercooler kit + Banks CAI going up a 8-9 grade (according to the state road sign) 80mph @ 20~psi over 2-3 miles my egts where around 1000. That was running Eric@IDs moderate FICM tune and his Street tune. oh year I was unload and the truck is a 05 CCLB 4x4

I'm really happy with the empty egts. I think that 1350 for a put for foot plat to the floor, from o-110 is preety good. I can't wait to pull my 5th wheel and see how temps do.

Yep, I also know that I get Pms from time to time about my results, and that I use my truck harder than most. I just don't see how people never see 1200*, but I can any time I load my trailer. I wish peole would have told me the stuff I post. I look at it as if I help 1 or 10 people, and piss off 100, that atleast I help someone. I have seen and heard of people chipping a truck, then it blows up from high egts. Then say I was told it was a tow tune and wouldn't get hot. And it's not all the elevation, I trailer all over the USA, runs close to the same, just takes a little longer to get hot. Not trying to be a ass, just get info, and help. I try to get as much info before I buy parts. And the more I do, the more I'm learning stock is best.

Twan, I'm thinkin that elevation is playing a big part in the temps. Less air to the fuel. Been the same with all the trucks I've had and I'm just on the other side of the hill from you.

I'm not sure about that, I'm at 4500ft here, and on occasion tow a 9k enclosed up to 7500, my temps will hit 1250ish,

With the canned tunes I pull a lower cruising EGT with the performance (not towing) than the street, is that odd?

Pulled my bobcat from job sites, right at 12,500, bumper pull trailer, egts were around 1000-1300 in overdrive, and in tow/haul 1000-1200. Running 55 mph. Gets a little warm at 1200 rpms, so I hit tow haul and it's all good. power is great, will out pull my stock 6.4.
