17" wheels on a 2011

I know the general rule is 17" wheels don't fit, but there are some that do. is there a list anywhere that shows what wheels are known to fit?

weird I have never seen a stock 6.7 superduty with 17" wheels and in a suspension thread a few weeks ago it was said that most will not fit.

Nothing glamorous, but you can't say that anymore. 2013 XLT. Stock suspension, stock 17s, stock tire size (265/70/17).

Neighbor has a '15 or '16 XL FX4 with factory steel 17" wheels.

F-350 SRW trucks come with 18s

Forgot to say the neighbor's is a SRW F350 with the 17" steel wheels.
Maybe he special ordered it.

I purposely bought my F250 with 17" aluminum wheels cause I didn't want to pay a premium when I'd be replacing wheels anywahs
