Lie-O-Meter is usually high.

To hand calculate, take the miles you've driven and divide that by the gallons of fuel used.

thanks, i knew it was something close to that just couldn't figure it out of course hah

That mileage in the mountains or on the plains? Rockies are a lot of up and down with some steep climbs. I also had 1500lbs in the box and was doing 65mph. Glad to see someone getting good distance on a tank?

In order to hand calculate properly you need to compare your speedo with a GPS and calculate the percentage it's off at the speed you will be driving, it varies with speed. Our new car is 1.38% off (high) at 70mph.

So looks like you guys are averaging around 19mpg? Looks like you're finally getting what my OBS F350 CCLB SRW with 4:10's was getting when it was new. LOL

BTW, how can someone be old enough to drive an not know how to calculate mileage. Thats like a 4th grade word problem. LOL
