Well as of right now the truck is for sale. Reason is we found our old OBS that we bought new in 97 and sold in 08 or 09, on CL today and want it back. I grew up in the truck and it saved my life when i was little, so i'm working hard to bring her back home. If something happens and we end up not going after our old truck anymore then my truck won't be for sale. This ad may be a little rushed as this is a spur of a moment type deal.

What it is:
1997 F-250 XLT ECLB 4wd, auto, 7.3
197,xxx miles on it

175/100%'s worked on and beefed up E4OD from Unlimited Diesel, don't have the mileage in front of me but i believe both have under 8k miles on em, and were installed last winter

Gearhead tunes

Quad pod with Autometer Z-series, boost(60psi), EGT, trans, and an Aeroforce Scanguage installed this spring.

17* HPOP out of a L99 T444E

285/75/16 Nitto Terra Grapplers, around 14k miles on them.

Good A/C, heat, factory stereo and speakers(cassette player doesn't work). Interior is in good shape aside from a cracked dash and sagging headliner.

The Bad:
Needs axle seals, been checking diff fluid level and am actually in the process of getting everything together right now to do the seals and rear brakes, along with having the drums and rotors turned

Has a bad up-pipe leak on the driver-side. But i have a charger off a 95 van, 7k miles on re-build, semi-polished compressor housing, and 0 shaft play that will go with it. Also have good up-pipes, gutted pedestal, o-rings, and everything else needed to replace my current charger with the new one.

Transmission shifts a little odd, but i believe its in the tunes and i just haven't sent em back to Matt yet.

Has a somewhat rough idle, which i haven't tackled yet. Have a brand new Carter mech. pump ready to go on.

Typical Ford rust on the rockers and fenders, dents, and dings.

The truck always fires right up, and for a while this summer i was putting 4-500 miles a week on it and had 0 issues. Only towed a couple times with it, and it did great.

Only good pics i have right now are from my senior pics we took in the spring, so pay no attention to my ugly self in front of the truck. LOL

Asking $9000 OBO. Not interested in any sort of trade unless you happen to be the guy with our old truck. ;)

For the right price, yes. Deal fell through with our old truck as i couldn't get ahold of the guy, but i'm currently contemplating selling the truck to buy a car and join the tuner crowd for a bit while i'm in school.

Figured i'll throw an update, 3 weeks ago pulling a load of straw home i had the hose from the coolant tank to the lower rad hose rub through, which i replaced. Next day the bottom hose on the "T" on the heater hose rubbed through, and a fuel return line on the engine blew out. Had new return lines made up and cut and spliced back together/re-routed the heater hose and all is good. Also have a new t-stat, housing, and some other stuff that are going on once i get the time/money to do a complete coolant flush. Think its a little over 199,1xx miles now.

Still interested in selling it(everything has a price) but at this point i'm not necessarily looking to get rid of it.

Bumping this up, thinking bout going towards a clean street OBS 7.3. Really want something shorter and lower, with a little better fuel economy to drive to school.

Truck now has a Pioneer DEH 7400HD, brand new, we installed it Friday. Still running stock speakers but it sounds pretty good for a 15 year old truck.

Nice pics. I usually take some senior pics of my kids posing with a truck or snowmobile, bike, etc. Years from now, you'll be glad you did.
