Nice. I like the stance of it. What did you do to lower it?

Purple was actually my next choice before I painted my orange truck. :D

Hey you have the same color engine as mine.....

What did you do to get it lower or did you just pull the rear blocks?

Well we finally got back up & rolling on Barney, been busying cleaning it up, running wiring, mocking up the fuel system & working on the turbo next.

How it is now-

Running a home brew fuel system with a single Superduty pump, dual bases & 1/2" high pressure line-

Mounted to a 1/4" steel plate bolted to the frame to tuck it up so it doesn't hang down-

Running the line to a 90° bulkhead through the frame, coming through on the other side with a 3/8s line & running that up to a regulated return-

Hope to have it fired up within the next couple weeks. Biggest hold up is only being able to work a couple days a week on it. So stay tuned......

if you wouldn't mind could you send me a parts list VIA PM for the fuel system? I'm wanting to do one on mine and that one seems very simple and effective.

Thanks and the build is looking great man!

Two Wix filter heads and filters (oneofakind will have to post a part number), factory superduty fuel pump, A bulk head coming out of the tank, and through the frame rail after the filters/ pump, and hydraulic lines connecting it all with JIC fittings on the ends. The hydraulic lines can be substituted with pushloc to save on cost.

Any progress on this project. Was hoping to see how it rides and looks with weight in the front.

Really close to being finished up! Like Cat said, when spring hits it will probably get wrapped up in a hurry. With the engine under the hood the truck sits just about perfectly level though. Obviously I can't comment on the ride though.
