Well seasoned long block! 580k on it. From a truck I parted out. Drove from TX to IL and then sat for a couple years before I got it. I never heard it run. Long block only. No injectors, turbo, exhaust manifolds, intake plenums, up pipes, hpop, valve covers. It does have front cover, oil pan (TX no rust!), pushrods, rockers, oil cooler. May run like a top, I have no idea.

$500 picked up in northern IL, 61084

Yo. What can you tell me about this? Can a motor be built from it? Or is it a rustball?

Ever have the heads off?

Hey sorry. I never took the heads off. Been stored out of the weather in a barn. Should be a good candidate for a build. It's at a friends place a ways from me. I can ask him to see if it still spins freely.

So pretty darn close. Where exactly. I am in west chicago, but the engine is at a buddys place in stillman valley.
