The wire thing hanging down under the front bumper is a connector for a front and rear Warn Winch that slides into the receiver. (Not sure if I know where that winch is these days...)
I have had this truck since new, I kind of did an impulse purchase on a 2015 6.7 PSD and I don't need two trucks!
