I had a kid come look at this the other day and made me realize that I can get rid of this.... I don't think there is a reasonable amount of money that would make it worthwhile to get rid of my first vehicle..... so for now I guess I'm going to keep the old pig and maybe try to make it fast sometime down the road

I sold a 7.3L this year myself, people just aren't into 10 year old trucks, and if they are, from my experiences, they aren't into paying 'fair' prices. My ten year old had rust issues, so that was kind of a turn off from the get-go. I'm sure all these 10 year old trucks are started to rust up somewhere, some worse than others.

I found for some reason people will buy older trucks off dealers within weeks or few months, but private sale takes the right person. I guess some may get lucky and the right guy might drive by and see it but I was not as lucky as mine was for sale for a few months, but I just had it listed on internet car sale sites.

If you don't want it, sell it, trade it. I generally keep vehicles for a long time, but a dated everything dinosaur truck just wasn't interesting to me anymore.

The new truck bug has hit me again- Still wanting to sell this. I can buy a new truck and still keep this, but as of now i hardly drive this truck, and if i were to get a new truck, it wouldnt be worth having two super-duties of my own on the road. The way it sits now i am willing to let it go for $17,500. Its set up to be one hell of a tow rig. The responsive wastegated billet s362 and the stage ones give enough power to tow anything you want, and the rear suspension on air is awesome when towing. The water injection is still on the truck but it really is not needed anymore

Here are some more pics.

Kris, did you ever put any pics up of your rear air suspension? Been wondering how it turned out and how it looks.

No, i havent. I have been slacking from when i originally did it- i still have the uber-long lower links- my traction bars, and the short upper links. I am embarassed about it because i know it's not "right" although perfectly functional, but i'd prefer to get the equal length lower links on it before posting pics to avoid the wave of comments i know i'd get on it. It's on the list though- Gotta get this white truck out of my truck's "bay" in the shop so i can get started on it.

Fair enough! I've always loved your gray truck. It's one of colors I like best and you've "modded" the look just right. It'll make someone a great truck.

I love the look too. I second guess selling it every time i look at the truck, but i have contemplated making a similar look with color scheme and wheels but on a new truck and that always makes me feel good about my decision

The more people i talk to, the more i'm convinced to keep this thing. You can't put a price on sentimental value... Unless someone comes along with an offer i can't refuse. I guess i could keep this and put this old 360 in it over time as a project.. :naughty:

Here's some pics though. Hope to get started soon on finishing the rear suspension. Just have to cut up some steel and get started on it-
