So with autoengunity on there with both coolant sensors plunged in it reads 255 degrees with the drivers side head ( assuming its the gauge sensor) unplugged it reads 203degrees. I'm thinking a faulty gauge sensor. Any one had this issue before?

Well its got 8 views on here and I'm probley 2 of them. So it was the emissions temp sender/ gauge sensor. So I guess the dash gauge has 2 sensors and the emissions one is the one it reads from. Well its fixed anyways.

This may sound stupid, but have you checked your radiator? When I ran skidder, every time for about 3 days, everytime I had a good hitch on the back and started up hill it would overheat and shut it down and wait for the temps to go down. We went through the whole fuel system, nothing. Finally pressure washed the radiator, took 2 hours to get the crap out with the burner on. This may not be helpful, but its food for thought
