Have a friend, just did head studs on an engine that was out of the truck. He did studs, and egr ******, then put it in a different truck. Did not do stand pipes, or dummy plugs or stc fitting. But anyways, gets it in, and it cranks but wont start. I went over with the scan tool and ICP would get up to about 1800psi cranking, engine rpm was at roughly 150, 2.2v ICP...Had like 30 codes stored. I cleared them out and cranked some more, what came back was crank sensor code, and glow plug module code as well as 1-8 glow plug codes. He says that he tested the glow plugs and they have power, but I don't think he actually ohmed them out. Where to start?

Didn't check batteries, FICM was 47.5. Ill try and bring the scanner over tonight or tomorrow and check a few more things.

id check Ficm Sync, make sure he put the ground strap on the back of the injector harness to the manifold stud, the cam/crank sensors are most likely from all the cranking to get it started.
