So I have a 3" leveling kit on my truck with 35s I noticed the carrier bearing rubber was starting to crack out so bought a new bearing from napa I took the old bearing off and noticed it has a 1/2 plate with tack welds on both sides. Put the new bearing on the drive line and when I put it in place noticed the rubber on the new bearing was smashed out from tightening the carrier down and vibrates at 70+ I cut the 1/2 plate off old bearing and used it on new bearing did ford put out a truck that had a bearing drop already? And this new bearing seems rubber is to big for housing if it's bolted to a flat surface the rubber smashes out any ideas or help
