Damn it son, gonna beat me to it buy a few years. lol
It could take a year... its def not on the highest of priorities right now. Probably be a solid winter project. But i do wanna move this pretty fast as i have another project i wanna get started on that will be as equally cool

2001 chevy 5.3 with 4l60, 3000 miles on both. into one of these, probably do a mild 224/224 cam headers ect, with a mustang II front end

That '78 is awesome :drool: I love that body style, always wanted to put a 6.0 in one. I can't wait to see how it turns out!

not really sure how the body on the newer frame is going to work, the plan is to keep everything as unmolested as possible in case i have to put the engine trans and axles under the original frame (which really dont want to do) but i have faith that its plenty strong if it came down to that, i just think that the axle brackets ect might be a ***in pain to deal with

I measured and it's not too far off but I have no issues cutting the frame if I have to.
