CMC, I did not do it myself. I did not have a few days to spare to work on a truck and driving around Houston with no a/c in a black truck was not an option for me. A friends shop was able to start on it the same day so I left it with them, probably paid a little too much but it got done. They did replace the heater core while they where in there since it was already apart.
