Uh, your diesel emblems are still on the doors, just so you know. You're not really going to leave those on for the door blend, are you? :poke:

For the most part, everything else I saw looks great. Maybe a little spot primer in the large areas where bondo was exposed, a final sand, and away we go. I guess we'll see tomorrow if the emblems stay on for paint.:lookaround: Have you ever gone to remove the 4x4 or fx4 decals from a bed to find the guy taped them off to save $20? All I wanted to do was a badge delete, now I ended up having to properly repaint the bed. At least it looks like the 2 tone pinstripe has been removed.:clapping:

Here is the thing. Take them off and then try and retape which looks like crap because you can never recut the tape with out it hanging over or buy new emblems that are $70 a piece .

I get that Jake. This project is amazing. It's the little things that complete it though. Just like Wayne and John said. And yes make big power from a 7.3. Sounds stupid, but what's worse is making power with a 7.3 on a cheap budget. Cut corners and it'll cost you down the road. Me for example I cheapened up on injectors builders. 2 sets in 4k miles and still not right... I'm going to be paying for it in the long run.

Just do it right the 1st time. Sorry, derail over.

I was wondering the same thing. With a tan rear flare I bet it will look just fine. It'll make it that much more unique at least. I'm guessing it'll have the small black XLT rock guard behind the wheel well to fill the holes. That's what mine will have. Again, the paint looks great!
