2017 F-450 on order

New guy here, just joined today. I have a 2017 F-450 on order that is expected to get here (roughly, this is Ford's initial ETA) around 5/21. That's not bad considering I order it on 3/15, I expect to get my Window sticker next week, and the truck actually built the following week. Or so that's at least how I guestimate it going, lol...

For now I just get to sit back and read a ton of stuff on forums making my second guess all my choices and/or spend money on things I never thought I needed, lol...

Don't second guess yourself. This is the first big purchase I've made that I haven't felt a twinge of buyers remorse with. I'm still in love with this truck just as much as I was when I drove it off the lot, they really are that good...

The problem I have seen with forums, for the most part, there are 2 types of users, enthusiast, and people researching or venting issues. So sometimes you will see more negative posts than positive, during this waiting period and checking forums it's sometimes tough to realize that even though there are a lot of negative posts, that isn't the entire truck population.

It just makes me hope for a truck without some of the issues people bring up, less than truly second guessing myself.

Well, got my window sticker today, and the build date is currently 4/27, so I hope it gets here before the 5/21 ETA I was given.

Lariat ultimate package, tow technology package, LED headlights, power deployable running boards are the big options, we also got the BLIS, and a few other things too.

Well, I got seriously lucky. I happen to have an old Army buddy working at the KY Truck Plant and he was able to see that my truck is on track for a Wednesday build, and I'm officially under 4 weeks left wait now, lol...

Got a call from the General Manager of my dealership, he was apologizing about not getting the truck done by this evening, but they have seen no problems so far and will have it all done for me tomorrow for certain.
