203° operating correctly?

Not entirely. But the layer of. Film told the story.

Unfortunately I saw the same exact Temps... I removed the tstat and boiled it. @ 212 it barely cracked... Thing is only a few years old... Not happy. Just grabbed a cheapo parts store 192. Going to see how it performs. Meantime I'll decide if I want to make the $36 leap again for the 203....

How often are you guys having to change tstats?

My 203 from Dieselsite is 3-4 years old now. I love it.

I think I threw a Stant in my truck... I though I remembered something about running the 195 means the engine is at 203? I'm probably wrong. I need to figure out what heat range I put in mine...

The afrozone 192 I put in last night fully opened @211° and dropped to 188 then sat @ 193 @ 80 mph. Once I got off Highway it was about 190...id like to see it hotter, but oh well
