I was over 500 hp on pmrs for a long time. Never dynoed but ran 8.4s all day in a 7800lb ccsb truck. At least 50 drag strip passes and some sled pulls along with countless wot runs on the road. Was still good when i pulled the motor to swap to forged, rods still straight. My brothers pmr motor is right there at 500+ and still holding strong. Gearhead tuning on both.

I'd keep PMRs under 900 ft-lbs if it was me. Just look at your dyno graph and pull some mfd out of the "max fuel vs rpm" table in the spots you made more than that.

Thanks for the advice. I will do that.

Any advice on trying to squeeze more up top ? In my head you can do one of two things, add more fuel, or add more timing.

It still has unused fuel but timing is what can cause issues on stock rods ? No ?

Matt any preferences on Romulators ? I would like to get one for my reg cab and obvious reasons.

I'm waiting for PHP to support the quarterhorse. And some timing is okay in the higher rpms.
