Hey everyone so I have done some searching and have some info but all the posts were fairly old so thought I would see if there is any new info out there. I have a 2014 350 dually and want to run 285/75r17 tires on the factory rims. Now We tow a 16000 lb fifth wheel a lot. Do I need to run a spacer? I have heard some people say no and some say yes a 2" but all those threads were back in 2011. So now that we are a few years into the new style duallys, is anyone running this setup? How much do the stick out? Pictures are always awesome too. Thanks.

That's a 33.8x11.22 tire....I'd say a 1" spacer is good, 1.5" even better! For 12.5 wide normally a 2" spacer is used and you'd about .5-.75" of space between them.

Yessir! I just put 37-12.5 on mine today with a 2.5" spacer to make sure I have enough clearance between them with a load! I did a ton of research like 2 weeks worth so it's pretty fresh in my mind. As you know, they're ain't much info out there on duallys

i have a 2" spacer for my 06 f350 dually but it was too big. im almost 100 percent sure they have the same bolt pattern. but i also got american force classics 19.5s when i had stock rims i definately needed spacers and i only had 34" tires im pretty sure they were 285s are 285's like 34" tires? i would reccoment at least a one inch spacer

if you go to discount they wont mount them for you every year they get strickter and strickter about how wide of a tire they will put on a narrow rim. they practically wont touch duallys and they absolutley wont touch spacers. i guess laibilities. in the past five years i use to get my duallies tires mounted there and now i practically have to do it myself. about 2 years ago they did my 285s on the stock 17's once i had a blow out they warrantied them and they wouldnt touch it unless it was a 265. which screwed me over because i got 6 tires lol
