Recently purchased a 1999 f250 7.3 2wd. Reverse was not working when bought. Forward gears worked fine. Removed transmission and tore down. Found the reverse clutches were toast of course. Rebuilt transmission with new steels and frictions. Upgraded springs in valve bodys. Replaced torque(prefilled), solenoid pack, and cooler. Put transmission back into truck and proceeded to test transmission with truck still on jack stands. Place transmission in reverse and reverse works great. Put transmission in neutral and wheels start spinning like its in drive(forward). Placed in D and wheels turn slower than in drive. In 2nd wheels do not move and 1st wheels do not move. What do you think could be causing this issue? Stuck valve? Solenoid Pack? or did i mess up the direction of a one way clutch? any help will be appreciated thanks
