4x4 Hard shift

I have a low mile 14 6.7. Got in a sticky situation and put my truck in 4 low. As soon as I shift into drive it kinda peloads. And shifting from neutral to drive it slams into gear. Is this normal or should I get it checked out.

I tended to notice the same thing on my 2006. I don't recall my last "op check" on the 2015. The change is due to the driveline ratio with the LOW selected.

^ Same on my 6.4. It's normal when in 4Lo

very normal. you get a lot of torque multiplication in low range

Thanks for the input. Gonna stay out of low. Sounds awful.

Better to know it's "normal" noise/sounds. Plenty people don't op check enough to know it's okay and working properly.
