4x4 light stays on

hi my 4x4 light stays on all the time. I just replaced my switch and hubs. but the light still stays on.
any ideas?
the 4x4 works when hubs are locked in switch turned to 4x4.
any ideas?

it's the relays under the hood, most likely

turn ESOF switch to off= 2 hi with the truck on and in park ,, key on engine off is fine

and see if you can turn the front drive shaft by hand

I had the same thing with mine, light would stay on in the dash. It was the switch in the transfercase (ball plunger sticking)

thats what I am betting
the PCM turns the dash light on by the signal it gets from the transfer case actuator motors location

it has no clue what happens on the hub end of 4x4

What the PCM will usually do is go into 4x4 low shift strategy when the light is on. Nathan, have you noticed any change in shifts?
