Yeah with full force 190/100's, you'd possibly see some gains at higher boost levels. Full force 190's are 'real' 190's...plus with the 100 nozzles you'd have more top end power than people with 190/30's or 190/75's.

With my 205/75's I would see 40-44 psi rolling into it with the torque converter locked, depending on tune. I'd see 40 psi with the 68mm Kc, but the 71mm wheel would should be more efficient (cooler discharge temp, more dense air) at the higher boost levels than the 68 was - plus it's a 6x6 dual plane wheel, opposed the the 11 blade single plane wheel my 68 had.

Edit:

Cool video, whats your peak egt's?
A truck with 190/100s won't make anymore power up top than one with 190/75s a 75 nozzle is plenty to dump 190cc.

Tuning obviously is a huge factor, but the other big factor is how different the injector builders spec and size their injectors...namely, not all 190's are the same. I've heard from some injector builder (warren) that a 30 or 75 nozzle is enough for a 190 to empty...full force says a 100 nozzle is required. Regardless of whether a 75 nozzle empties a 190 completely, a 100 nozzle will empty the same 190 cc's faster, which will have an effect on cylinder pressure and the torque curve accordingly, as confirmed with several popular tuners, so it is in fact possible (I've seen it in person) for a 100 nozzle to make more top end power.

Agree to disagree on that. I will not be outrun by a 190/100 truck with a vgt. Totally agree on not all the same.

No one said anything about being outrun by a vgt or non vgt lol. Your comment was about fuel/nozzles...but I won't let this turn into injector theory lol.

Agreed. I'm just a little confused because kc loves small nozzles. He's running like a 285/75 right now. From what I've heard that 71 runs good.
