2006 6.0L stock

Right after oil and oil filter change (schaeffers 5w40 syn), and fuel filters changed (motorcraft), it developed a misfire when cold. Would start and idle fine, but stumbled under moderate acceleration until fully warmed up. Once warm it runs 100%.
I double checked all filter gaskets...

Shop says 3 injectors are failing.

Can the injectors act funny when cold but fine when warmed up?
Any other thoughts I should follow up on?
Thanks!!

Yes you have injector stiction. Get yourself 2 bottles of rev x and dump it in the oil and drive.

Should clear it right up.

Congrats you likely have injector stiction.

Check your FICM voltage. IF that doesnt cover it try some rev x

yes- most likely injectors. try running some rev-x thru it and it may clear up.

do you have a monitor of any kind?

ICP pressure and fuel pressure would be good to know as well.

there is a good thread in this section about "stictition" which is what you are experiencing.

on edit: treed

Just curious but what oil were you using before? What oil filter brand? I did an oil change once to a different oil type, truck immediately ran worse and had a rough idle and bad injector stiction. Not to say it didn't have some before, but it got much more noticeable with this new oil type. Same oil weights, just a different brand.
